NEW LAW! Beginning January, 1, 2006, all persons born after January 1, 1984, who operate any vessel on the lakes of the state of Missouri must have onboard his or her boating safety identification card issued by the Missouri Water Patro (OR their home state)l. The card is obtained by successfully completing a boating safety course approved by the Missouri Water Patrol (or a similiar course with their state of residence).
